Joint strength for the Swedish travel and tourist industry
The Swedish Travel and Tourist Industry Federation (RTS) is a business organisation that conducts business and development projects in partnership with players from the private and public sectors. These projects are carried out according to the RTS growth model within the framework of infrastructure, entrepreneurship and financing. Our objective is to encourage increased entrepreneurship and growth within the Swedish travel and tourism industry.

Brief history
2007: Name changed to the Swedish Travel and Tourist Industry Federation. The acronym RTS is retained. RTS establishes project forums and conducts operations according to the growth model it has developed. New website and domain name, www.rtsverige.se, is launched.
2001: Name changed to the Swedish Travel and Tourist Industry Federation (Rese- och Turistindustrin i Sverige). The acronym RTS is retained.
1992: The Swedish Travel and Tourist Industry’s Cooperation Organisation (Svenska Rese- och Turistindustrins Samarbetsorganisation, RTS) is founded and other industry associations join.
1990: Name changed to the National Swedish Tourist Industry Association (Svenska Resebranschens Riksförbund, RRF) to allow several sectors within the industry to become members. The Association of Swedish Travel Agents (SRF) regains its name and becomes a member of the new association.
1980: The Association of Swedish Travel Agents is changed to the Swedish Travel Industry Association (Svenska Resebranschens förening, SRF). Members include travel agencies and tour operators.
1937: The Association of Swedish Travel Agents (SRF) is founded
