Liseberg, Treehotel, Aurora Sky Station i Abisko, Fotografiska, Kolmården, Skansen, Strömma Kanalbolagets skärgårdsturer and Säfsen Resort offer the best experiences in Sweden according to Norwegian, Finnish, Danish, German, British, American, Dutch and Russian travel agencies. The winner of the title “The best experience in Sweden” will be announced at the Swedish Tourist Gala on October 18.
The international “TRIP Global Award” will be presented for the fifth consecutive year to “The best experience in Sweden.” Last year’s winner was Astrid Lindgrens Värld. The award was established by the Swedish Travel and Tourist Industry Federation (RTS).
The selection process was performed in eight key international markets for Sweden: Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany, the UK, USA, The Netherlands and Russia. The jury consists of tour opertaors from each country, with about 30 operators participating.
The winner of the TRIP Global Award and the identity of “The best experience in Sweden” will be announced at the Swedish Tourist Gala on October 18 at Berns Salonger. The Swedish Travel and Tourist Industry Federation’s TRIP Award and the Grand Tourism Award will also be presented at the gala.
The Swedish Tourist Gala is an annual inspiration and knowledge event that includes conferences, prize ceremonies and a gala banquet. The gala was established as a meeting place for all of the organizations and stakeholders in the industry. Read more about the award and the nominees at www.turistgalan.se.
